The Chemical Biology of Plant Resources Group focus on the discovery of biologically meaningful and structurally novel natural products from Lingnan specialized plants and symbiotic/associated microorganisms, the research interests mainly include the isolation, structure identification, bioactivity evaluation, total synthesis, structure-activity relationship, and pharmacological mechanism of natural products with aim to promote the development and utilization of plant resources.
