Research interests of Resource Plant Biotechnology group: (1) Based on functional genomics, elucidate genetic bases on the biosynthesis of plant secondary metabolites and molecular regulation mechanisms in environmental adaptability, so as to develop molecular or metabolic markers linked with economic characters and build precision breeding systems;
(2) Focusing on resource plants with medicinal, economic or ecological values, breed high yield, high quality and stress-tolerant cultispecies using biotechnology, commercialize scientific and research findings and improve economic benefits.
